east electric company - Kazanluk Ltd.

East Elektric Company - Kazanluk (eec-K) is an eec's subsidiary. We are preparing two construction sites for construction of wind farms. Both are on our own land in surrounding of the city of Kazanluk just in the foothills of Mountain "Stara Planina", bordering on Enel's wind-farm site (250,000 sq.m).

On the first site, Kazanluk-1, in 250,000 sq.m. area, 80 wind turbines* of 3.6 MW each could be erected,
annual energy yield is 8,500 MW per turbine.
  On the second site, Kazanluk-2, in 140,000 sq.m. area, 35 wind turbines* of 3.6 MW each could be erected;
annual energy yield is 9,000 MW per turbine.

The wind conditions of both areas have been explored for a long time (click the rouses on the left). The measurements are going on. After obtaning the monthly average values** of the wind velocity for the last ten years, EEC-K proceeded with purchase the land syndicated from plenty of plot owners. Next, eec-K will apply for exchange the purpose of the land form agricultural use as it is now into industrial land for development of renweables. Then the market price of the land will rise up to about four times.

Further it is following the process of of obtaining the licenses and other certificates as the Bulgarian regulations so require for wind farm construction, the purchase/selling contract of the wind power generated including. In the meantime the business is subject of negotiation for sale to prospective investor—in part or in whole (land, project, certificates, and the whole acquisitions of eec-K).
